Music, a Must

We must make time

for music.

We must carve out

moments to

unburden

ourselves --

from traffic,

and schoolwork,

and deadlines,

and debt --

to close our eyes 

and sink into the sympathy of a symphony

or dance in delight (or defiance),

as the pressures

of the day fade

into the corner,

if only for an hour.
